The benefits of circus circuit training

Do you find it hard to drag yourself to the gym in the mornings or after work? Working out alone isn’t fun and it can even be demoralizing when you head to the gym and have to plan another aspect of your day. Circuit training fixes all of those problems! With a good trampoline warm-up and then a circuit of exercises based on circus training, you’ll be exhausted and exhilarated at the same time. Not only do you look forward to coming to class thanks to the high energy but you also tend to burn more fat. Below are 5 reasons why circuit training is good for you:

1. Gain Strength and Muscle Simultaneously

Combining strength training into a circuit workout will not only push to work harder, but it will also increase your heart rate. In turn you will use more power and increase your muscle mass. At Extreme Circus Bootcamp we use a number of medicine balls and even incorporate the trapeze and trampoline into the circuit so that you can challenge yourself.

2. Full-Body Workout

Although many of the exercises during the circuit will usually focus on one or two muscle groups, the reality is that you are getting a full-body workout. Our trampoline warm-up will have your legs and butt aching after your first class.

3. Save Time

After you have gone through the warm-up and the circuit you won’t ever want to go back to regular exercises at the gym. Normally you would have to do a number of reps and workout for approximately 1-2 hours in order to feel as tired as you do after Extreme Circuit Bootcamp class.

4. Stay Pumped with HIIT

The trick to staying pumped about the workout is by doing high-intensity interval training (HIIT). By doing short but intense anaerobic exercises with less recovery time than normal you’ll burn fat faster and tone up.

5. Awesome Environment

You may have been scared away by the name Extreme Circus Bootcamp but we’re only extremely passionate about creating a positive environment where all types of people can workout together. On any given day you can hear circuit-training participants egging each other on with words of encouragement.

We usually start with a trampoline warm-up where you learn tricks and flips before moving on the intensive circuit. You don’t have to be a professional dancer or even a regular gym rat to attend these classes. So, if yoga, barre or pilates just aren’t cutting it for you, it may be time to take your training to the next level. Give us a call and sign up for your first Extreme Circus Bootcamp class.
